We were hired to perform a feasibility study and generate a business plan for struggling pottery studio, a social enterprise run by Sistering and funded by the United Way’s Toronto Enterprise Fund. Using a Design Thinking approach, we developed an innovation design that would transition the enterprise from a self-employment model to a transition employment model, integrating operations more deeply with those already in place inside Sistering and providing a platform around which donors and supporters could be rallied.
